I am Chasm.  I am the gaping hole that bars your path.  I am the solid earth beneath your feet no more.

         I am Chasm.  I am the challenge you have set for yourself.  I am the barrier you must overcome to reach your goal.

         I am Chasm.  I may have been there all the time--a known obstacle in your path.  Or I may have appeared suddenly without warning--an unforeseen impediment that stops you short.

         I am Chasm.  Do I really exist?  Or have you imagined me?  Can I be overcome?  Or will you settle for less than you could be?
