I AM CHICKEN

I am Chicken.  I am the dumb cluck.

I am Chicken.  You have little use for me alive.  You are not impressed by my life.  You think me stupid and unfeeling.

I am Chicken.  I am only really useful to you dead.  The faster I reach that point, the better in your mind.  You do not care what I must endure in my short life.

I am Chicken.  I am part of All which makes me part of you.  I am not a thing separate and distinct.

I am Chicken.  I made a choice.  I came to life in flesh to serve.  I chose at this time to be a martyr for you.

I am Chicken.  Did you think I had no choice?  Did you think because you bred me I must come?  Did you think life must follow your human intent?  Think again.

I am Chicken.  What happens if no part of All chooses to be Chicken?  What happens if that part of All that is deciding to return decides that Chicken is so mistreated that none will live as her?

I am Chicken.  My life is in your human hands.

But I am Chicken.  My choice to come at all is my own.  What would you do if I decided not to come?

Chicken tells us that
All Life has a choice.  Can we
Make her life worthwhile?
