I am Charity.  I am much more than the United Way.

         I am Charity.  I am the gratefulness and compassion that rises from a Loving heart.  I am the willingness to share the bounty of both flesh and Spirit.  I am the recognition that All are One.

         I am Charity.  I am not grudging reaction to peer pressure.  I am the only possible response of a Loving Spirit.  I am caring from the source.

         I am Charity.  I am openness to the pain of others.  I am a balm from heart to heart.  I am a return to union.

         I am Charity.  Gifts given from obligation are encased in fear.  They strangle the giver's heart and bring only fleshly gain to the receiver.

         I am Charity.  Gifts given from the heart are infused with Love.  They bless the Spirit of both giver and receiver.

         I am Charity.  I am a gift from Love.
