I AM SKUNK

          I am Skunk.  I'm sure my reputation precedes me.

          I am Skunk.  "The best defense is a good offense."  This is a lesson I know well.  My reputation for offensiveness ensures that I rarely have to defend.

          I am Skunk.  What do others think of you?  What is the picture they have of you?

          I am Skunk.  Your reputation may or may not be deserved.  It is only partly yours.  The rest belongs to others.

          I am Skunk.  Your reputation can be a help or a hindrance.  It can gain you entry to some places, and exclude you from others.

          I am Skunk.  Because your reputation is only partly yours, do not make the mistake of believing it.  You are your Spirit--what you truly are--not what others think of you.  Learn to know the difference.
