I
am Silkworm. I gave up my wild existence to serve man. I am
as domesticated as any pig or cow.
I am Silkworm. I am still far ahead of your science. You feed
me and care for me because you cannot duplicate my silken threads.
You cannot create the strength and Beauty that flows from me.
I am Silkworm. My cocoon is a wonder--a single thread stretching
halfway to forever. A thread that has the strength of steel.
A thread that is itself alive.
I am Silkworm. My cast-off thread I would freely give to you.
But now you take it when you choose. Your choice is not my timing.
I am Silkworm. As a domesticated animal I have adapted to the change
you brought to the cycle. My metamorphosis is no longer in the flesh--it
is in the Spirit.
I am Silkworm. The cycle is still complete.
Silkworm adapted
To a human cycle. Can
We adapt as well?
