         I am Companion Animal.  You call me "pet."  You think you own me.  You often treat me as disposable.

         I am Companion Animal.  Your doctors have only recently begun to understand.  They now admit there are actual medical benefits from walking a dog, riding a horse, stroking a cat or a bunny, holding a hamster or an iguana, talking to a bird, watching the silent dance of fish.
