I AM COCKROACH

          I am Cockroach.  I've roomed with you ten thousand years, though I have lived far longer.  In all that time I've never heard a kind word on my presence.

          I am Cockroach.  In all my millenia of life, I've learned a thing or two about survival.

          I am Cockroach.  I've also learned some things about myself--my strengths and weaknesses.

          I am Cockroach.  I'm not poetic.  I'm pragmatic.  It doesn't matter what you think of me.  I will remain true to myself--to my destiny.

          I am Cockroach.  I will remain Cockroach.  Although I get better and stronger with age.  Whatever you think of me, just remember--I will survive.
