I
am Tobacco. For some I am peace and understanding--a symbol of union
with the Divine. For others I am sickness itself--a sign of evil
in your midst.
I am Tobacco. I did not choose to be either sacred or profane.
I chose to be myself.
I am Tobacco. What I am to you is your choice. I may be nothing
at all, or I may be the center of your life.
I am Tobacco. What you are to yourself may not be what you are to
others. You may become a symbol not of your own choosing. You
may become quite different things to different people.
I am Tobacco. I know the taste of adulation. I know the taste
of utter revulsion. I know that I am neither.
I am Tobacco. What you seem to other people may not be your choice.
But when you become a symbol is when you must stand most firmly in yourself.
Do not be swayed from your path by what others think of you.
I am Tobacco. In the end you are what you have chosen--not what others
think of you. If you choose the path of Love, then you are Love.
Tobacco knows the
Truth of choice. Can we remain
On the path of Love?
