I am Religion.  I am man-made orthodoxy.

         I am Religion.  Although Spirit and I are not incompatible, we are not the same.

         I am Religion.  I am a set of rules--of dos and don'ts.  Although my rules were written with the best intent, they are not the goal you seek.

         I am Religion.  There is much good in me.  I have helped many to see their path.  But there is also much in me that is not so good.  I have become blindness for many others.

         I am Religion.  I was intended to lead flesh back to Spirit.  Sometimes I do.  Sometimes those following me have lost their sense of Spirit in their fervor for me.

         I am Religion.  I am just a tool.  I am a compass, showing the right direction.  I am a knife, cutting through the undergrowth that blocks the path.  I am a ladder, enabling you to climb ever higher toward your goal.

         I am Religion.  I am not the goal.  I am merely multiple ways to see the goal.  Use me, but surpass me.  Hold to your goal of Spirit.
