I am Reindeer.  Life is harsh in the frozen north.  Man needed friends.

          I am Reindeer.  I craved friends, too.  I longed for contact with a species other than my own.  To reach out and touch another part of Life.

          I am Reindeer.  I offered myself to man as companion, worker, food.

          I am Reindeer.  In man I found the touch I sought.  I offered and he accepted.  Together we are more than each alone.  Together we have grown.

          I am Reindeer.  I thank man for the opportunity to serve him--to befriend him.  I have learned much about cooperation and friendship.  I am more than I was.  I am closer to the stars.
