You
are Muskox. I brought your death.
You are
Muskox. I saw your circle of protection. I saw you standing
placidly, secure within your strength.
You are
Muskox. I pulled the trigger. I watched you fall. I watched
you standing there still. I pulled the trigger again and again.
I watched until the snow ran red.
You are
Muskox. Did that really happen to you and me in another life?
Or is my imagination ruling me? Does it matter? With that single
picture you tore my heart like no other. There is a pain that does
not die. What is the lesson here?
You are
Muskox. How easy it is to destroy. How hard it is to say enough
when all around you urge you on--whispering seductive words of power.
You are
Muskox. You stand in silence to teach us Truth. You die before
our guns without a fight. You challenge us to rise above ourselves.
You speak directly into our hearts with silent words of shame.
You are
Muskox. You are my teacher. I will not dishonor your life by
failing to learn the lesson you teach with your death.
You are
Muskox. Stand strong in silent celebration of the sanctity of All
of Life.
Muskox asks us to
Honor all of Life. Can we
Deny his request?
