I am Ferret.  I am the cuddly weasel.

         I am Ferret.  The name "weasel" is pretty low on your list of beloved animals.  It conjures up visions of dying chickens and disappearing eggs.

         I am Ferret.  By taking a different name, I took a different road.  Although my nature has not changed, your perception of me has.  I seem a different creature.

         I am Ferret.  I became a pet for you.  I allowed you into my life.  I urged you to see me differently.  I tried to make you understand.

         I am Ferret.  If you could see me as a friend, I hoped you could take a leap of understanding and also see my wild and disappearing cousins in a different way.

         I am Ferret.  Change is not always bad.  Change can lead to new understanding--to new horizons--to new communion.  A change in attitude can alter the very fabric of the Universe.

         I am Ferret.  Change with me.  Become something altogether different.  Become a force for new understanding.  Return from the brink a new being.
