I AM ANTEATER

I am Anteater.  I find I must respectfully disagree with my cousin Pangolin.

I am Anteater.  My cousin would just as soon that you were gone. I cannot go that far.

I am Anteater.  His life and mine have been very different. Our experiences with humankind are worlds apart. I respect his experience and how it has shaped his outlook.

But I am Anteater. I have the luxury of being a step removed. I have more objectivity, not having been emersed in pain as he has been.

I am Anteater.  Do not deny other forms of life and others of your own kind their individual experience in physicality. But remember that humankind, too, has a song. That song was to be of the caretaker, the one who provided service.

I am Anteater.  You changed your song a long time ago. You made it something else entirely. You have forgotten why you started everything that was started.

I am Anteater. Can you recall why you are here? Can you accept differences without Fear and its child, Hatred? Can you return to what you really are while still in flesh? Or has it gone so far that it will take a return to the All to refresh your memory?

Anteater asks us
To remember why we came.
Can we do that now?
