I AM WOODCHUCK
I am Woodchuck. Little King.
I am Woodchuck. In my burrow clean and warm, I sleep the sleep of
learning--I die without dying.
I am Woodchuck. My hibernation can last half the year. That
time I spend in dream and out of body. I slip quietly out of this
life and pursue another.
I am Woodchuck. Come with me along the shaman's path. Leave
flesh behind, it is protected. Let Spirit float away. Roam
down paths that winter never touches.
I am Woodchuck. The fairy worlds are never cold. Their energy
runs too high. Within these realms your Spirit soars--your soul dreams
as it learns.
I am Woodchuck. Returning to your body can be a fearsome jolt.
But rest awhile, stretch back inside your flesh. Reconnect your senses.
I am Woodchuck. Flesh seems different when half your life is spent
in fairyland.
Woodchuck spends half her
Life in Fairyland. Can we
Escape fleshly bounds?
