I am
Weed. I am the plants you do not want--the plants you have no use
for.
I am
Weed. Because you cannot see my purpose, does that mean I do not
have one? Serving man is not the goal of all of Life.
I am
Weed. What you do not want inside your garden, in another place is
fodder. What you diligently pluck from your crops, is Life nonetheless.
I am
Weed. I do not exist just to pester you. I add diversity.
I add strength. I am part of the whole mix--I help prevent disaster.
I am
Weed. I will, of course, bow to your desire. I cannot stand
before your hoe and disk. But I will return--I am a persistent devil.
I am
Weed. When you pluck me, give thanks for all of Life.
