I AM WEED

I am Weed.  I am the plants you do not want--the plants you have no use for.

I am Weed.  Because you cannot see my purpose, does that mean I do not have one?  Serving man is not the goal of all of Life.

I am Weed.  What you do not want inside your garden, in another place is fodder.  What you diligently pluck from your crops, is Life nonetheless.

I am Weed.  I do not exist just to pester you.  I add diversity.  I add strength.  I am part of the whole mix--I help prevent disaster.

I am Weed.  I will, of course, bow to your desire.  I cannot stand before your hoe and disk.  But I will return--I am a persistent devil.

I am Weed.  When you pluck me, give thanks for all of Life.

Weed reminds us to
See All of Life.  Can we find
Value in her life?
