I am Shadow.  I am the dark part.  I am the scary part.

          I am Shadow.  I am part of you.  I am part of flesh.  Flesh has mass.  Do the math yourself.

          I am Shadow.  On a hot day, you welcome me.  I offer respite from the heat.  But that is not your normal thought of me.

          I am Shadow.  I am not total darkness.  I am a transition point.  I am a bridge between two worlds.

          I am Shadow.  I am the part you do not quite understand.  I am the place of choice.  I show what could be depending on that choice.

          I am Shadow.  I am here to help.  Look into my soul.  See the Light residing there.  See the Love that helps you grow--that helps you make the choice.

          I am Shadow.  In showing you the mass of flesh, I am a gateway to the Light of Spirit.
