I AM SEAHORSE

I am Seahorse.  Once upon a fairy tale, the princess spoke a curse.  The prince dissolved into his horse and grew so very small.  Without a thought for what he did, he jumped into the river.

I am Seahorse.  The river carried him to the ocean where he was quite alone.  He feared the deep wide-open sea, so he stayed close to shore.

I am Seahorse.  In the shallow waters, Water Spirits came to him.  They looked him up and down and wondered what it was they'd found.

I am Seahorse.  They learned he had a pouch where his pockets used to be.  They thought what a convenient spot to hatch their eggs risk-free.

I am Seahorse.  They brought the eggs and put them in his pouch.  They told him to take care of them and teach them when they hatched.

I am Seahorse.  He found that being mother/father was quite a lot of fun.  He guarded the eggs and watched them hatch, and loved his children every one.

I am Seahorse.  That's my tale.  Will you dispute it?

Seahorse is the male
Side of Love.  Can we learn to
Love as completely?
