I AM MANGROVE

          I am Mangrove.  I am the start of something new.

          I am Mangrove.  My seeds take root in shallow waters.  My leaves reach for the sky.  My roots spread out in all directions.

          I am Mangrove.  At first I am alone--growing in solitary splendor.  But as I grow, others join.  I become a beacon for Life.

          I am Mangrove.  My roots offer shelter and protection.  I am a stable platform in the midst of fluidity.

          I am Mangrove.  Around my roots, an island grows.  Among the roots of my children, the children of the sea grow.  Where there was once only possibility, life teems anew.

          I am Mangrove.  Take root.  Be strong.  Stand bravely against the current.  Be your essential self.  Be a beacon to Life.
