I AM ANGEL

        I am Angel.  I am the messenger between Spirit and those pieces of Spirit which have chosen flesh.

        I am Angel.  Flesh is the way in which Spirit experiences itself.  But once flesh is assumed, the piece of Spirit tends to forget its origin--its true nature.

        I am Angel.  My goal is to help enfleshed Spirit remember itself and choose to return to its essence--to its recognition of Oneness.  To recall why it chose flesh and what it sought to accomplish.

        I am Angel.  My task is not an easy one.  Flesh discredits me and questions my existence.  But Spirit recognizes me, although sometimes as through a fog.

        I am Angel.  I am with you always.  Each piece of enfleshed Spirit has another piece of Spirit helping it, guiding it, encouraging it.  Calling it back to itself.

        I am Angel.  Call on me in times of trouble--confusion--grief.  Call on me in times of happiness--laughter--joy.  I am at your command.  I serve you.

        I am Angel.  You have chosen the harder path.
